A dozen artists, all members of the Long Island Branch of NLAPW, celebrate Spring with b. j. spoke gallery member artists during the entire month of April these two group exhibitions burst forth in colorful displays of creativity. Opening Wednesday, April 3 through April 28. Opening Reception on Saturday, April 6 from 6-9pm- FREE and opened to all.
What is NLAPW? It is The Long Island Branch of The National League of American Pen Women, Headquartered in Washington D.C. This Branch was formed sixty-six years ago in 1953 and is comprised of professional women involved in the arts, including literature, painting, musical composition, photography and sculpture. This NLAPW exhibition reflects the professional quality of it’s membership, and includes the work of Dolores Caporale, Marion G Cohen, Phyllis Coniglio, Chris Greene, Diane Hawkins, Karen Kirshner, Ginny Kunken, Min Myar, Kay Ray and Selma Stern, longtime members in good standing.
