b.j. spoke gallery will be exhibiting never-before-seen, original drawings by Jean-Michel Basquiat, created when he was in PS101 elementary school, Brooklyn, NY. At the time, b.j. spoke gallery artist, Cindy Shechter was his art teacher. Basquiat’s drawings will ONLY be on view on Saturday, July 13th from 6:00-9:00pm, during the Opening Reception of STREET 2 SPOKE, an exhibition honoring the influence Basquiat has had on Graffiti and Street artists throughout the years. b.j. spoke has invited well-known, grafitti artists – ANDALUZ the ARTIST, COPE2, & EASY to show their work in the gallery with our members for the entire duration of STREET 2 SPOKE (June 25- July 28).
